SIX

V had the greatest week of her life. Her lifelong friend got into Founders this week. V had a cheerful welcoming committee waiting at drop off to walk her up to campus. She also waisted no time playing a trick on her teachers. Jane and V have always looked so similar and on Friday they switched sweaters and seats and definitely fooled their teacher for a minute. She has prayed in gratitude every night for a week straight that Jane is her classmate. 

 2024 week six

Lovey kitties. 

My class earned a drone demonstration as a class initiative. Matt came and made their week by flying the drone all around the campus and taking requests. My favorite was when they chased the drone around the field. 

Matt and Theo finally pinned out the horrifying Christmas beetles that Matt gave Theo for Christmas.

Saturday morning was Pinewood Derby! Theo's Rocket Ship. 

V's Baconmobile!

Lea and Keegan joined us with their own cars. 

V won first for AOLs and 3rd overall! She came home with a trophy! 

Matt smoked a beautiful pork shoulder on Saturday. He woke up at 3am to get it in the smoker to be ready for dinner. 

And dinner was glorious. Pulled pork tacos with asian style cole slaw and sriracha. Heavenly.
