Theo had his Immigration Day. He chose to do his report on our ancestors from Norway.

2024 week five

When we were considering Theodore for a name we discovered that my first Norwegian ancestor born in the US was named Olaf Theolai. So he kind of did his report on the ancestor he's named for.

Happy 1st birthday to my nephew. Baby's first pack of cigarettes. We all lost it when a mysterious package labeled "From Grandma" was opened and it was a box of Marlboro. No one in that room had ever even smoked a cigarette before. It was very funny.

The cat donut is such a big hit around here.

After Mrs. Willoughby (another 4th grade teacher) went out to Indian food for the first time and sent me photos of her dinner, we just had to go out the next night. Delhi 6 in Highland Village has such excellent food. This is the Gobi Manchurian which is our favorite appetizer. 

Matt went on a 10 mile run and took the kids with him on their bikes. They stopped for every slide and exercise equipment. It was the most beautiful day to spend a few hours outside. I was left at home to make marmalade and start our early spring garden.
