TWENTY-SEVEN

Happy 4th of July!

2023 week twenty-seven

The kids in the annual Independence Day bike parade!

Then we spent the afternoon and evening at a friend's pool party.

No illegal fireworks were exchanged or ignited.

Matt spent the weekend working on making a concrete trashcan pad. Unfortunately he started this endeavor by puncturing three different sprinkler lines.

He did a great job learning how to fix those punctures.

Hatchback for the 1000+ lbs of concrete win.

Finished concrete pad!

We have had a baby mockingbird hanging around our house this week. Mama bird has been flitting from tree to tree keeping an eye on it.

Pickles has been an absolute delight this week.

We had the cousins to stay this weekend and they were here when our chicks hatched!

Drizzly morning walk with the cousins.

Blackberries were on extreme sale this week so we made two batches of jam, berry crumble, and ate fistfuls of the most perfect blackberries.

Theo making a water fountain for Alana.

Breakfast.

I'm so glad this girl still wants to dress up.

And now, some moody photos taken by the kids while I was on a walk and they shouldn't have been playing with my phone.
