Besties.

Everyone is losing steam so we're trying to find moments of fun to help keep up morale. They really like draw-along with me videos. We did a Paper Mario one the other day. That was fun. 

We did a different drawing exercise a few days later that resulted in this gem. The likeness is uncanny. 

Last day of DnD for the summer. 

Theo went on a four-mile bike ride while Matt ran. He was so proud of himself and loved every minute. 

Giant carrot I pulled from the garden for our salad. 

V organized a birthday party for her gecko. We played pin the tail on the gecko.

We also made Mango a crown and gave her a piece of mango. Happy birthday little creature. 

We got to have dinner at Mrs. Jones' house and V was in heaven holding a baby as much as we'd let her. Punctuated by spoonfuls of beans straight from the serving dish... our manners are so high class.  

It's the green season in Texas. 

Pastries from Eataly for our Mother's Day breakfast. It was a lovely and peaceful Mother's Day. It was perfect.
