THIRTY-THREE

Theo worked so hard this week to perfect this white belt combination to earn his yellow belt. He feels so accomplished and we are so proud of him.

2022 week thirty-three

Working so hard.

Matt tried to make the kids last few days of summer feel extra special. Chick-fil-A lunch while watching Are You Afraid of the Dark?

Salem is so ready for school to start. The kids wore each other's clothes this day to try to trick me into not being able to tell them apart.

Taking Matt to Dallas for all his eye appointments has its perks. Breakfast at Eataly.

School started this week for these two. First grade for Theo and 4th grade for Vera.

On Saturday we got to join in celebrating one of Veronica's best friend's family's vow renewals. It was a special evening and fun for her to experience a flavor of Indian weddings being in a pack of children running around causing nonsense with an amazing selections of curries for dinner.

While V and I were at the vow renewal, Matthew brought evil into our house and taught Theo how to play Monopoly. Theo LOVED it. He and V played it three more times the next day. Pray for me. I'm going to be forced to play monopoly soon.

So happy to be a wild thing.

Theo wakes me up every morning during the summer months with an excited, "Can I check the mailbox?" He's looking for bugs that have fallen in during the night. Matt caught him in the act on his way home from an early morning walk.

We recently acquired a Pirateology book and the kids are all about it. I came home from grocery shopping to find them fully decked out in pirate gear.
