And one last face squeeze of his favorite (prove me wrong!) cousin.
We had an action-packed week this week.
Monday morning our doors got replaced.
We still have some painting to do but so far so good.
Korean corndogs on Thursday with the cousins.
Friday night I attended the 10th anniversary gala for Founders Classical Academy. I'm really grateful to work for this school and with these awesome teachers.
Saturday afternoon crawdad fest with the cousins.
It is always so delicious and such a fun annual tradition.
Little garden gnome.
Sunday morning Mother's Day breakfast. Matt's mom came over to join us for an English Breakfast.
Matt was so generous to do all the messy crafts the kids have been waiting for me to "find the time for" while I got to spend a beautiful hot morning in the garden.
Sunday afternoon the scouts had a fishing activity. The kids got to make their own bamboo fishing poles.
Jaunty fishing pose. It's clearly all in the hips.
It was such a great fishing spot. Each kid caught multiple fish.
They were so pleased.
It was a lovely Mother's Day with my little family.
