2022 week seventeen

On Saturday we celebrated Veronica's birthday party. Theo here is clearly delighted to be fighting off all the girls at once. 

We started with DIY face painting.

When everyone arrived and had a balloon in hand and art on their faces we moved to the backyard.

V and Grandma (who took all these great photos for us). 

The cotton candy station is always such a hit. 

We had a build your own hamburger bar for lunch and V led everyone into the garden to pick their own lettuce. 

After lunch and ice cream sundaes Matt numbered all the chickens and released them. Whoever caught a chicken took off the number and got a corresponding bag with a special prize. The chickens hated it and the children loved it. 

Then it was piñata time! 

And present time. V was so happy with all the friends who were able to make it from school and all the very interesting gifts. Some of these girls really know what V likes.
