SIXTEEN

Quarantine mood. Everyone is talking about how their cats' are so eager for their people to get out of the house. Luna stalks me until I sit still and is immediately on my lap showing her gross belly.

2020 week sixteen. Quarantine week five.

Mama-Buggy coloring.

We borrowed a friend's dog to be a playmate for our kids for a day. They made Molly a fort and tried unsuccessfully for an hour to coax her inside.

Front step breakfast while we waited for our daycare friends to arrive.

Then we had a cascarones egg hunt.

We made mozzarella stick sandwiches! They're called mozzarella in carrozza in Italian. Mozzarella sandwich dipped in egg and bread crumbs and fried. Fantastica.

Theo prefers his snacks to resemble Costco samples so he can relive the glory days of going to Costco for snacks. Also, does anyone else have to buy individual boxes of cherry tomatoes for their kids and write their names on the boxes to avoid fisticuffs?

Theo found a handful of junebugs in our mailbox and was so excited to scoop them out and play with them. *shudder*

"I took a picture so you could always remember me looking like this." We went through their closet and box of baby clothes. V discovered that this 12 month dress fits her as a shirt and she's so excited about this.

Matt found some rope lights and gave V's bed under-glow.

Puddle riders.
