SEVENTEEN

We have been going through boxes and boxes in storage (quarantine activities) and found several pair of costume teeth. The lower teeth fit the kids perfectly. They wear them all the time now and absolutely love it.

2020 week seventeen. Quarantine week six. 

Grandma had a Moana wig, so we resurrected the Moana costume and it's very exciting. 

Theo  loves his little school crafts that they send home every week for us.

Grandma came by for a bubbly long walk with the kids. 

V has been getting better at making breakfast in bed for me. Toast with butter and prosciutto or strawberry jam, fresh berries and (mostly) hot tea. 

One afternoon I spied a little reptile foot digging its way under our fence. We peaked over and there was a little box turtle! Our niece has been longing for one so we kept it safe until they could come take it home. It will be very loved and have a very nice outdoor habitat at their house. And if it ever escapes it will be in the promise land by a big lake. 

My vogue rose bloomed its annual flower this week. This is my favorite rose. I love the orangey baby pink color, it smells like the inside of a vogue magazine, and it lasts for several days cut in a vase. I only wish it were more prolific. 

We raised Theo's bed on stilts and V decided she would rather sleep under it as a bed cave than in her own bed. She's been sleeping there all week quite happily.

What? Where does he even get this? He yells at me for using rough words if I say 'dumb' or 'oh my gosh' but he'll whisper "I'm going to kill you" or "Good god damn" neither of which he has ever heard us say!

V mostly just puts on elaborate costumes all day and methodically asks you if you like each piece of her ensemble and then will explain its purpose. :)
