2020 week nine

Theo is such a good big cousin. These two had the best morning running and snacking and toting toys everywhere as hard as they could. 

I subbed in a class and came across this shrine with a chicken foot on it. I thought, "That's weird." followed closely by, "I could be friends with this teacher."

It has always grated on Matt's soul that I had never eaten at Waffle House. This weekend he decided to remedy this. Everyone had a really good time. V especially enjoyed her cheeseburger... for breakfast. 

This weekend the kids have been as thick as thieves, running around and playing intensely from morning until night. They took every cup we owned and filled it with soap and sand, made this fort and dragged every stuffed animal outside. Their feet are black and crusted and they slept so hard last night. I hope this is a glimpse of what summer will be for them. Also, welcome to late winter in Texas where shoes (and sometimes shirts) are optional.

"Ohp! Someone else needed to talk to Siri." Theo says this every time I cut siri off if I want to cancel the message. When he hears siri cut off he thinks someone else interrupted us and is using siri now. As though only one person in the world can access siri at a time.

"You can tell it's from Frozen 2 because of the dresses." On repeat for two straight days. She was so excited about the new water bottle she bought with her own allowance.
