We got a dog! Well, technically we're only dog sitting, but they're going to have to pry her away from our cold dead hands.

2020 week two

Theo has been saving up his allowance and birthday money and Christmas money for SO long to finally get all the fireman lego sets he wanted. He spent three days building this beauty. They immediately dismantled it and rebuilt it. 

Vera got her first set of teeth x-rays done. No cavities! And a lot of teeth are just itching to emerge. 

My friend gave me two more chickens after one of ours met a sad fate... She had a beautiful bird I got to carry around while she boxed up my chickens for me. 

Theo and Matt built one of Theo's fun Christmas presents one night. A build-your-own police car. 

Friday night we had a tornado warning. Here we are in the bathroom. 

Saturday morning we got some snow! It was our first snow in maybe 5 years. We got a good inch or so and everyone got to watch and delight in this rare luxury. 

Lucky for us the cousins were already over, so there were no end to partners for snowball fights.

Theo is not pictured in the snow because after he touched the snow he proceeded to cry for five minutes about how cold his hands were and he demanded a bath. Demanded is a nice way to phrase how he asked...  

More in his element! The dandelion prince has reemerged for (nearly) spring!
