2020 week one!

One of the better breakfasts I've had in a long time. After two bites the egg rolled off my toast and splashed into my tea. My kids didn't know how to handle this and were so worried I'd be more upset. Theo said, "It's just so sad because you lost your egg AND your tea." 

"Helping the workers" so the sodas wouldn't fall off the shelves. 

On Saturday Veronica and I drove out to Sid Richardson Scout Ranch for a cub scout orienteering activity. 

The weather was a glorious 60 degrees. We hiked 3 miles on and off road through the hills avoiding the prickly pears. 

Veronica loved every minute of hiking. She was in the front holding the map setting the pace with her walking stick. She volunteered to climb down every gully to collect the punches on our map. 

She was so proud of herself. She wanted the prize of eating at McDonalds for the first time when we were done. The happiest happy meal ever. 

Matt and Jacob and Kaleigh worked on building this chicken run so I could contain the birds so I can start my garden. V and I planted the onions Sunday morning.
