FORTY-NINE

Singing a love song to her nutcracker ornament
 2019 week forty-nine

School Christmas Pageant. V's class sang "O Little Town of Bethlehem." It was too much. Very precious.

Luna barely tolerates our antics.

Looking so stinkin' cute before school. All the uniforms were on sale for Black Friday so she got a whole new school wardrobe. May she wear a plaid skirt forever.

Our favorite kids consignment store had all their coats out. I found this darling wool peacoat for Theo that had a hat attached on the inside. I was nervous he wouldn't want it, but when he saw it his eyes lit up and he gasped, "My very own Police hat!" Win. He will now wear it every day because he believes it is dress up.

Sitting in the hallway for so many hours wrangling cats *er* the kids with the dance moms. I brought tasty cheese and fruit and we all sat and laughed and cheesed for a long time.

Some of the silly girls getting wiggles and giggles out before their last Nutcracker performance for the year.

Quotes

Theodore

"My throat feels really poky like a hedgehog's back."

"I have an itch to buy something -a really, REALLY big itch."

"Why does everybody in Texas have guns?!"

"I'm starving for those toys. If I have to wait for Christmas I'll be just dying for it!"

V- "Theo why do you have all those red scratches on your face?"
T- "Because I'm strong. Like Uncle Sam."

Veronica

Me- "We're going to stop at Taco Bell on the way home."
V- "Hooray! I love Taco Bell!"
*one minute later*
"Dashing through the snow, in a one horse open taco.
O'er the fields we go, laughing taco taco.
Bells on tacos ring, making tacos bright.
What fun it is to ride and sing a taco song tonight.
Oh, Taco Bell, Taco Bell, taco all the way. O what fun it is to ride in a one horse open taco, hey!
Taco Bell, Taco Bell, taco all the way. O what fun it is to ride in a one horse open TACO!"
