FIFTY

We made a gingerbread house on Sunday morning.
2019 week fifty

I found a full mink coat at a thrift store this week! I was sorely tempted to recycle this beauty to my closet. Not that it is ever cold enough in Texas to need mink...

Veronica's letter to Santa. She wants a giraffe onesie with a hood.

Early Sunday morning we went to see the Bass Pro Santa.

More gingerbread shots while we listened to White Christmas movie playing in the background.

Grandma came too to help and to document. Theo made a ridiculous face in every single photo. Including this one... with a rubber band gun...

The other big thing that happened this week was we needed to get our house siding repaired and repainted. Before.

After. Our brick is super hard to complement well. I think the subtle pink and soft blue look really clean and fresh.

Quotes

Theodore

"I dont like being a grown up! Because then I wont be as cute!"

Veronica

Me- "I love your beautiful face."
V- "I love your beautiful face too. I love the way your nose is nicely pointy."

Veronica had a Judaism unit at school and she wanted to go to a synagogue. So on Saturday morning I took her to a service. She sat through all the beautiful Hebrew chanting/singing prayers and thoughtfully turned the pages of the Torah the whole time. She had a nice time even though she was too shy to participate when they asked her. Until the Challah and grape juice came out. Then she was holding the plate of bread during the blessing and lacchiyam-ing with everyone. At the end she said, "That was awesome! Can we come back every week? I LOVE that bread!"
