THIRTY-TWO

This fairly creepy doll brought to you by me and V. She is inordinately proud of it and tells everyone about how her mama made a doll for her. She's been making doll clothes for her and she loves Dolly. Mostly she just loved the two hours we spent together constructing her. 

2019 week thirty-two

This silly moment made me laugh. Theo was busily walking around with a doll hat on his head, a carrot in his mouth and an empty box of chocolate muttering to himself. 

On Saturday we provided the dessert for Matthew's brother Jacob's wedding reception. So much delicious peach cobbler.

Their personal peach cobbler was baked in a Texas-shaped cast iron pan to fit the Texas-themed reception. 

Somehow, Theo and I were not present for the family group shot.

"This party is loud. Everyone must be so excited because Jacob and Kaleigh did a good job marrying each other."

Veronica

"I wish we could be ghosts. Then we could do whatever we wanted. We could even fly away from our mom all the way to New Mexico."

"I'm going to ask Santa for a Transmogrifier. He's kind of magic so maybe he can make one for me. But I'll ask for something else too just in case it's not possible. I would turn into a lion. OR *GASP*  a NATIVE AMERICAN!"

Every time Theo tries to play pretend with Veronica a variation of this conversation happens:
T- "Pretend she liked having a pet gecko."
V- "No. Pretend she didn't."

"I need to do a very important science experiment. So I need my lab coat and tools to set up an experiment to see if fairies are real. I need to figure it out with science. I'll leave this cup of fairy soup and if it's gone after nap then I'll know they're real." I obviously had to dump the water out during nap.
