THIRTY-FIVE

On Friday we spend most of our day out doors. First we went to a new beach with some of our favorite local friends (V cried when she heard we were going. She was BARELY consoled by the fact that her friend was going to be at school also.) lovely folding chairs under umbrellas and wind rippled surface and not another soul in sight.

2018 week thirty-five

Carving up the sand with his trucks. This was the most unusual sand. It felt like cornstarch underfoot. And it clung to everything in much the same way.

That evening we went camping by a different lake with cousins and an assortment of aunts and uncles.

This little one kept getting in trouble for running in the road and not listening. After he stopped crying he sweetly grabbed my hand and asked if I would sit near the water with him. We watched the sunset and threw rocks in.

Up with the sun and exploring the shore. V was running around having too much fun to be in any photos.

Beach spoils.
