FOURTEEN

Happy Easter with my beautiful, silly, bug.
 2018 week fourteen
My little Easter creatures.

We had an easter egg hunt for all the kids. Everyone brought well more than their fair share of eggs, so all the kids took home buckets of candy and prizes.

Long tables heavy with delicious food, and full of cousins and friends.

So many eggs!

Candy, candy everywhere

Veronica loves her Great Grandma Hatch.

So excited by every egg.

Accidentally Renaissance

This scene preceded by a frantic query "Can we please play in the mud?!"

Quotes:

Veronica

"I'm on of the slim dark ones. We're called slimders!"

"Garden angels" = "Guardian angels"

Also from our current bedtime song (Brahams Lullaby) "Round your head, flowers gaze" instead of "Round your head, flowers gay."

Theodore

"Mama! I have a surprise for you! Papa is WEED WHACKING!" I'm not sure why this was such an exciting surprised, but he was thrilled to tell me.

We're working (and working, and working) on not interrupting. Theo has started to loudly complain if anyone interrupts him "NO INRUPT ME! Roanica RUPT me!" But sometimes he thinks its a game to interrupt others, V- "Mama I want to a---" T- "WRAH WRAH GAH GAH! I in-rupts Roanica!" And sometimes when he's working very hard to not interrupt me he'll come up to me and say, "Mama, I have a question a you!" And it's very precious.

He fittingly calls sewer drains "Very drain-gerous."

Me- "Oh. Theo, no, please don't hit the tiger. How do you think the tiger feels?"
T- "Fluffy."
Me -...

Me- "How was bedtime?"
Matthew- "Everything was find until Theo wet his pants and stuck his toothbrush in an ant pile."
