2018 week fifteen
| It's the best time of year for Texas. Texas intuitively *gets* spring. Nothing has ever been so glorious as April days in Texas. |
| My roses are growing so prolifically this year. And my peony bush bloomed for the first time in three years! Hooray! |
| Here come all the garden photos: my grapevine and two plum trees. |
| some tomatoes and greens and cucumbers. |
| Our archway between the two beds. |
| My rabbit garden: lettuces, garlic onions. |
| My vogue anniversary rose is the most perfect shade of pink. |
| I step outside for one minute, and Theo has already chased me into the front yard. |
| They always prefer to be in the front yard. |
| My children want so badly to believe it's summer. |
| Theodore went around the house collecting flies in this easter egg. He caught twice as much as this before nap time. Half of them were alive still. The next day he filled a cup with June bugs. |
| We went to try a new coffee shop in the area with Grandma. Poor V has another ear infection so I got her a huge hot chocolate. |
| The prettiest and worst tasting coffee of my life. It tasted exactly like burned beef vegetable stew. I don't know how, but that is what it was... |
| Everybody wants to be a cat... |
Quotes:
One afternoon everyone got in big trouble and was getting yelled at. As I took Theodore inside for time out, I heard V singing in the back yard. When I went back out there she had a big smile on her face and said, "Mama, I was singing a song about how happy our lives are!" I had to laugh even though the irony was lost on that wild thing.
When Theodore wants to express that there is a large quantity of something he says, "Two five." "Wow I have two five trucks!"
