FORTY-NINE

Hot Chocolate Cheeks
 2017 week forty-nine

This was a sad day for my Christmas Pyramid. Veronica was very impressed with my ability to put out the fire.

Hot Chocolate with Mama on a cool morning.

Monday it was warm enough for this. Theo is in the background sitting in a bucket of water.

Tuesday it was this sort of hand knitted day.

Theo was too sick to go grocery shopping with us on Saturday and he missed the firetruck! V got to climb in and touch everything.

Cookie decorating party with ballet friends.

Nativity night! V got to wear little animal ears and go on stage. She was thrilled.

Waiting in line for Santa mishap. She couldn't move her arm fast enough and I accidentally sat on it. Her exhaustion was too overwhelming to be able to handle such a small thing.

But Santa Claus was worth it. Veronica turned to me when we were in line and said, "Santa doesn't know I'm here! He'll be so surprised to see me! He'll say, 'What, I didn't know Veronica was here!'" Christmas Magic.

She was much braver and much happier this time, though she is still wearing the same dress.

Quotes:

"What in the heavens!?"

Theodore every time we get in the car, "Excuse me Mama? Fire. Room. Get out. Fast. Fireman. Police Man. Mama. Papa. Get Theo. Get Roaca"

Veronica happily singing to herself is offending Theodore.
T- "NO! No Say CACA!"
Me- "Ask her nicely."
T- "STOP! SAY!"

"Roaca" = "Veronica" (some days. But most days it's still just Caca.)
