TALES OF A WATERMELON JUNKIE


 The other evening we decided to let Vera try some watermelon.

 She. loved. it.

So, yesterday when she couldn't bear to be out of my sight, I propped her on the table while I ate lunch and gave her some more. The reaction was the same.

As I had to pause to eat my own food, I noticed a pattern:

 watermelon


no watermelon


 watermelon (juice)



 no watermelon

 watermelon (notice the demon junkie eyes)

no watermelon


I thought I was being really careful and only letting her suck the juice, but then I found a seed in her diaper...

Happy Friday! We'll be eating as much watermelon as we can around here.

    You should try these mesh feeders, you can stick a huge chunk of watermelon or anything (we do canteloupe, ice chips, watermelon, peaches) and then they can suck to their hearts desire with no fear of choking chunks, Everett is obsessed with his!
