We made some Gingerbread Men!

Did you ever read the Gingerbread Man as a kid? I loved that book, but it also slightly terrified me. My mom used to chase us and yell "Run run run as fast as you can you can't catch me I'm the Gingerbread Man!" The idea of a cookie jumping to life out of the oven at you and running away is slightly creepy...

But it's Christmas time and I'll be gosh darned if I didn't do something gingerbready. So we made gingerbread cookies. They were too crispy for my liking-Martha!- but delicious.

Here are some photos. I was so excited about our bizarre cookies that I didn't take any photos of me. Trust me, you're not missing much on the baby bump front. I just look post-Thanksgiving gorged most of the time. Husband's dad and youngest brother joined us in the cutting out and decorating.

 Look at this funny old gingerbread cookie cutter. I love him and his little hat!

 Can you spot the: Angry Ninja, Mad Scientist, One-armed ballerina, alligator, vampire in a wifebeater (trampire), hula dancer, small pox victim, santa, power ranger, and normal gingerbread man?

 Find the squid, homie with corn rows, reindeer, snake, snowball fight victim.
