FORTY-SIX

 

Vera and Theo both had field trips this week. V loved getting to spend the day at the zoo with all her good friends. 

2023 week forty-six

We went on a fun family date out to eat at a new (to us) pizza place in Flower Mound called Zalat. It was Spectacular. 

Some of the absolute best pizza we've ever had. 

Matt is totally done with the fence. He even added lattice for my grapevines.

4th grade also had their field trip to Medieval Times. It is always such a momentous field trip for the students. 

The football coach convinced Theo to beg us to take him to the "Biggest game Founder's has ever had!!" So on a misty Friday evening we got to cheer on our school to victory -next game is the State Championships! The kids loved running around playing with school friends and seeing their teachers out of school. 

Theo is digging a "mine" under the tree fort. 

I hope they never grow out of block towers. V thought I was giving these away to a little cousin and she said, "You CANNOT. These are precise and accurate BIG kid blocks." 

Just before she shot a near perfect bullseye. I'd love to get her on some sort of archery team or lessons. 

Matt woke up with a fire to update the attic. 

Several hours later it is a whole new attic. 

Fried egg queso tostada breakfast. 

I made a beautiful loaf of artisan bread and tied it with string so it baked in the shape of a pumpkin. 

Celebrating Grandpa's birthday with ice cream BEFORE dinner.
