TWENTY-FOUR

Featuring Salem: the most patient giraffe steed.

2023 week twenty-four

A mysterious bug I would not allow Theo to take into the car. This photo was supposed to be the consolation prize, instead he continued to whine about the loss of this bug for the rest of the day.

Matt set up Grandpa's birdhouse outside V's window.

Another day, another Katniss braid.

V had Volleyball camp every morning this week. She absolutely loved it.

Some dramatic shots taken by V after Theo patiently allowed her to "style" him.

This one nearly gave me a heart attack. He was standing at the end of the the shadowy hallway when I saw him and I thought it was V and that she had cut bangs. Instead Theo just loved it that he really spooked and upset me.

Featuring Salem: so naughty to try to get the june bug.

The aftermath of our Mexican Gothic book club. We had Mexican treats and mushrooms and homemade horchata.

On Friday, my friend Sera and I hit up several thrift stores in Denton before going to a most delicious Thai restaurant. I may have had the best green curry I have ever eaten. The thrift stores were unfortunately less than fruitful for me. I loved his blazer but the blue was such an odd blue that I was worried I would never be able to match it to any suit pants. Oh well.

While we were out shopping and dining, Matt was helping her husband Darrin remodel their bathroom. Matt spent most of his time building framing for the tub.

Happy Father's Day to the best Papa. I elected to sit out of the inaugural game of Settlers of Catan so they could work out all the details before they tried to teach me.

Quotes:

Theodore's Father's Day poem for Matt:

Roses are red

Violets are bloops

I love you for your juicy poops.
