FIVE

 

We came home early on Monday because of an impending ice storm. We threw out a bunch of treats for the local birds. The gathering inspired us to watch The Birds. I didn't think my kids would like it, but they were entranced. We've been on a bit of a Hitchcock binge all week.

2023 week five

School ended up being canceled each day through the whole week. It wasn't that we got a lot of snow (clearly) but the roads iced over and were completely impassible. 

Unfortunately you cannot quite see what Theo is so proud of: a plate of icicles. 

Matt did brave the roads on Thursday to bring home this large gecko. He was practically being given away. Crested geckos are such easy and interesting pets. Meet Charlie. 

He's a lot bigger than our sweet little Mango.

V has been making lego houses inspired by the lives of our friends and family. This is our family vacation rental in Hunt, TX last December.

I lost a bet. Here I am being held down while Veronica gets to fizzle my teeth with her awful stuffed giraffe. *shudder*
