Theo was so proud when he passed his orange belt test. And to make the evening even more magical, it was snowing when we left! We were so excited. 

2023 week four

Saturday morning Pinewood Derby Race! Grandma kindly joined us for the races.

Veronica didn't lose a single race in her heat with The Fizzler (shaped like a giraffe). 

And Theo got Third Place in the Tigers race! His car was called Monster Face. 

So nervous watching the cars go down the track. 

Sunday morning was quiet at our house. Grandma took the kids for a sleepover until lunchtime. Matt and I went on a Kolache quest around Plano and then came home and just had quiet little corners all to ourselves for a while. It was lovely. 

Once the kids came home they immediately set up elaborate races in my quiet corner.
