FORTY-NINE

Salem Jonathan is the most patient cat

2022 week forty-nine

Matt went to an AFI concert with one of his concert friends and ran into a different concert friend! I'm glad he has concert friends (that aren't me).

I am still so in love with my 1942 US Navy issue women's pants. With this silk top, I feel so glamorous.

Annual Christmas Pageant at school.

V and her friend before the performance.

Our White Elephant contribution: a taxidermy bat with a COVID specimen label Matt made.

On Saturday morning we headed to downtown Lewisville for the Holiday stroll. First we got to see Santa.

Then we got to ride the little train.

And then ride the little horses.

We finally have enough leaves to rake into a pile. The kids tried to contain the pile by a dog gate to keep it nice and deep.

Salem Jonathan Kringle. Truly the most patient cat.

It's a semi-sweet blessing to have a prolifically producing turnip patch. We love the greens, but the roots... they are not our favorite.

Matt and the kids went to get the most beautiful little tree while I made mince pies. I love that the kids are old enough to decorate it themselves (with only marginal sartorial suggestions).
