TWENTY-NINE

The colonial style has not diminished. V decided to dress as Johnny Tremain for her Spanish club meeting. Footwear accuracy is optional. 

2022 week twenty-nine 

I received my first ransom letter. This one was from Salem apparently. Thoughtful of him to decorate it with a stylish dress. 

Like the old hobbit that I am, I relish each breakfast at my comfortable table in my tidy home in the summer morning light. 

Theodore was creating some abstract art during Veronica's piano lesson. 

"May I help you?" I walked into my room to find Snaffy had settled in this cozy spot to read a book. 

When V wasn't dressed as Johnny Tremain she was wishing (loudly and frequently) for her own colonial dress. On Saturday I carved out a few hours and pieced together the remaining fabric from my dress to make her a child's version and an apron. She is so happy -but not more so than I am to see my own little Felicity prancing around my house. 

V realized her wish and convinced Theo to dress up with her. 

Matt framed his amazing drawing of Texas state symbols hidden inside a drawing of the state. I love it.
