FOURTEEN

Theo is up to his old tricks. The critters are starting to come out, so he is VERY popular at recess. Today he caught an anole and the entire kindergarten class lined up to take turns petting the little thing. Theo is a natural born Steve Irwin.

2022 week fourteen

This chunky boy is outgrowing his Alamo.

We finally got to go check out the new Thrive center in Lewisville and get our memberships. We'll be coming here a lot to play from now on. Within 5 minutes of being in the pool, Theo -ever unaccountably over-excited -was too exuberant and got himself stuck in the whirlpool of the lazy river and had to be rescued by a lifeguard and I had to fill out an accident report. He spent the rest of the time pouting about how he could no longer go into the deeper parts of the pool that day.

For April Fool's Day I had an invisible bird on my shoulder. The kids loved it and were confused. It disappeared halfway through the day and they were really upset.

All of Theo's various loves in one Baroque still life

Swinging in our backyard can be a high-intensity sport requiring proper personal protective gear.

Fries date with Papa

Matt having too much fun with his work backgrounds.

Quotes:

T- "Look at this photo of Papa! He's getting married. Wow, you look like a fresh, handsome Papa."
V- "It's probably because you don't have as many zits."
T- "Mama, I love to look at the picture of you when you were fresh."
All I can hear in my head is, "What about them? They're Fresh!"
