TWELVE

On Saturday morning we did a little family date to Kimzey's Coffee to pretend we were at a gnomes hunting lodge.

2022 week twelve
It was very cute and whimsical inside. Matt and I keep running into this problem where he orders his coffee too sweet and mine is too bitter so we mix them and they become perfect.

The only photo of our St. Patrick's day dinner: The Sticky Toffee Pudding. It was unreal. It will not be my last sticky toffee pudding.

It's March in Texas so my kids are begging to be allowed to swim and play in the sprinklers.

Theo can hardly contain his glee when he was shaking his wet hair on me.

I had a really fun pre-birthday weekend. Several friends went with me to Cane Rosso for dinner followed by an opera! (Not pictured is my co-worker Ashley who took our last minute open ticket and met us at the theatre.)

I've never been to an opera (that I can remember) and it was so fun. The Barber of Seville was fun and funny. And because I'm an adult I did not feel bad at all deciding along with everyone else that I did not in fact need to stay for the second act. Haha. We all laughed about it, but we were tired. And I'd rather leave having enjoyed every minute rather than being at the point of delirium and anger.

On a walk with my silly bug and her giraffe.

"There was a little girl who swallowed a fly. I don't know why she swallowed a fly..." she said she could feel it buzzing in her throat.

The hazards of teaching your little ones to sew include unaccounted for needles hiding in the carpet.

My little garden gnome.

We had my birthday cake early because the ricotta cake was warm and I just couldn't wait for Monday. It was the correct choice.
