2022 week seven

We started Treasure Island this week, so a new lego set appeared on my desk.

I got a new belt and I am so happy about it that I had to share a photo. 

Matt and I had an early Valentine's date night on Friday at Cane Rosso. Every bite of every dish we've had there has been so good. I only caught my Valentine's elbows in this photo, because the friend artichoke was the star of the show that night. Sorry, my love.

V had a birthday party-filled weekend. First was her cousin's birthday on Friday night. 

Then an old friend's party Saturday afternoon. 

Saturday morning we tried a crazy donut shop near our house. 

We got a sampler of the most interesting ones. I finally found my maple peanut which is my absolute favorite donut. 

Theo woke up early Sunday morning to make paper weapons. He couldn't wait for us to wake up so he could show them off.

Theo was playing in these grasses when a rabbit jumped out and almost onto his lap. He said he was so startled he couldn't think and almost cried. When he recovered he was pleased as punch.
