FIVE

I got to wear my Revolutionary War gown this week to school. It was so much fun. V told me I was a lot like Miss Frizzle and I’ve never felt more flattered.

2022 week five
“Awwww Mama we were JUST starting the fun part of our game!”

Theo and Matt have been slowly assembling this puzzle we got for Christmas this week.

What “Martha” looks like when she’s just hanging out in my class not on me.

Pre-spring yard work has begun! My niece came over to learn the ropes of composting and prepping a garden for spring. She and V were little twins with their matching hair and bird legs struggling to lift buckets of manure and compost. They were such hard workers.

My little helper bug. She is all about her moccasins these days. She says they give her energy to jump around and climb things.
Quotes

Theodore

“I hope Papa doesn’t see that I have an extra storage of bacon!” Bacon is what Matt calls their little tummies. If their shirts lift up he’ll say “Ooh do you have some bacon for me?” And he’ll tickle their tummies.

I have to triple check Theos laundry because he comes home with pockets full of rocks and treasures every day.

When Matt reads to them at night ha will periodically pause and ask them comprehension questions to see if they’re actually listening. Theo brought home his first kindergarten readers this week and as he’s reading these books to me he’s asking, “What did the alligator do?” “What was his feeling?”
