FIFTEEN

Easter family photo. Theo clearly saw something he'd rather be a part of. Luckily I had a firm grip on that shoulder.

2021 week fifteen

Some cousin Easter Egg hunt action shots.

This one is my favorite, of great-grandma hiding some eggs in her chair.

Asparagus is one of the prettiest vegetables. This purple is stunning.

Birds are getting bigger and prettier.

Vera had Olympic Games Day on Friday at the end of their Ancient Greece unit. Luckily it was during my prep period so I got to watch and take a few photos.

Haha. Salem's silly face when Roscoe jumped up on the windowsill to listen to the bedtime goings on.

All week we've been moving furniture out of the way for some foundation repairs. Matt was such a genius and also covered everything in plastic.

While clean up was still (and continues to be) a beast, this little trick saved us so much work.

While the workers were adjusting our outdoor piers, they cut the internet line. Our neighbors generously let Matt use their couch for the entire day so he could actually work. Wasn't he lucky to have this view all day.

These are the two holes in our kitchen (that we can't step on for three days) there is one in our bedroom and one in V's room as well. When I peeked in, there was a man up to his shoulders standing in this largest hole. And our exposed foundation was less than 3 inches thick! They had to do a quick adjustment and use different jacks because our foundation should be either 6 inches or 20 inches thick depending on the location! Ugh. They were so surprised by how poorly our foundation was laid originally. The joys of a home that is over 50 years old. We have one more week of a torn apart house and then carpet and tile will be fixed and we should be all back to mostly normal.

Ahh, the sweet crunchy feeling of the first mailbox june bugs of the season...

Theo loves his school.

He was so excited to tell me he got to hold (and lick!!) an octopus at school.

V got to have her first non family play date since Covid started. And the mom was so generous and kept her for 5 hours. She talked for two straight hours when she came home and fell asleep hard.
