We got a funny birthday present to enhance our chicken entertainment: tiny dinosaur arms.

2021 week thirteen

Matt opened his birthday present from me early (a Moka pot) and Salem immediately crawled in the bag. He's everyone's favorite present. 

Veronica wanted to go to Palm Sunday Mass. Anything that comes with accessories (in this case palm fronds) is more fun. We also saw one of my students and I got to hold their tiny newborn baby sister. New babies are so precious and I forgot how breakable they feel.

After the kids destroyed Matt's beanie at the campout Theo and V felt really bad and thought that they should replace the beanie, "We should buy him a new beanie that says, "Most Excellence Father!" 

The kids have been really into "Dad jokes" lately and love to help me make up our own. The best ones we thought of this weekend were, "What do you call a rock with eight sides? A Rock-tagon." "What do you call a rock with four sides? A rock-tangle." 

I was talking to someone about Theo and it wasn't until the words left my mouth that I realized how tender Theo's little heart is, I said to them, "Theo at heart really loves people he feels he needs to take care of."
