FOUR

He said, "Look Mama, I'm covered in warts!" And then he was so pleased with himself. Later he asked,  "Did you like finding all those eyeballs I left on the floor of your room?"

2021 week four

Last Sunday we had family over to test drive our Christmas purchase: a raclette. I just like this photo because of little Salem asleep on his cat shelf.

The top part is a grill for meat, veggies, and bread, and under the heating element are eight little trays that you fill with cheese to melt to pour on top of your meats and veggies and bread. We all had a great time and realized this would be a fantastic way to make individual nacho portions. So we are obviously doing that soon.

Theo at school on his 100th day of school. He didn't want to dress up as an old man.

When you need to live as a wild cat, but it's muddy outside.

The kids had a grandma weekend so on Saturday Night Matt and I went to a new restaurant in downtown Lewisville called "Prairie House". We had grilled quail and deep fried jalapeno strips and burnt ends. Everything was exceptional and I look forward to going back. Someone should come visit us in Texas so we have another excuse to go. On our date weekend we also got bagels, and went on a long foggy walk, and had raclette again with some friends.

This is what you will find if you leave your phone in your five-year-old's bed.
