V went to a scouts shooting sports day last weekend. To everyone's surprise (and her mother's concern) she was an ace shot with the sling shot.
2020 week thirty-nine
BB guns were a lot more difficult and that's just fine with me.
And her favorite: archery. She was a consistent shot due to so much practice in our backyard.
While we were gone the boys went and got haircuts.
One day after school V took a quick photo of me.
While I went grocery shopping on Saturday, Matt got the halloween decorations down and he and the kids decorated the house. V prefers to decorate while wearing a shroud over her face.
V made origami bats for our halloween centerpiece.
Not a Halloween decoration. Just your everyday monkey skull doorstop...
Matthew hung up two wooden bars up for me to hang up our herbs to dry. I love them so much.
Our lemongrass is so tall and happy. We can actually harvest proper sized stalks of lemongrass now. And it's just beautiful.
Our homemade candles are a bit overly dramatic as they burn.
Quotes:
Theodore
Stares lovingly at his bacon, "ooooh fatty backy!"
Spots balloons tied to a stop sign, "Papa! Look! It's that stop sign's birthday!"
"Bear sesame seeds" = "Bare Necessities"
Veronica
Spots a nasty ripped up pillow in a parking lot, "Oh! Mama, look! A poor baby cloud."
Every day when we get home from school, Matthew puts on the Pete and Pete Soundtrack and hides somewhere in our house to scare the kids as they come in. If they hear the music they know he's hiding.
Me reading some of the kids favorite Halloween books.
