TWENTY-SIX

Theo saved up all his allowance for several months to buy this 3-n-1 Lego plane. He lives and breathes and dreams legos.

2020 week twenty-six

Theo has moved on to the next logical phase of catching bugs: taxidermy.

A quick stop at a fountain during a long morning of errands to refresh ourselves.

Fountains are always magical, I love them particularly when it's windy and they get messy.

Must. Always. Climb. The. Things.

My sister-in-law, and her sister-in-law (my sister-in-law once removed?) took a little overnight trip down to "Basic White Girl Mecca" (as Matt calls): Waco, TX. This beautiful boba was my first treat. If Waco lacks anything, it is not delicious treats.

At Magnolia Table for breakfast before all the shopping.

Then on to another Texas staple, the Dr. Pepper museum. We all had a really fun time, and I wish I was eating more breakfast tacos again right now.

Sunday morning Matt was working with his dad, so the kids and I explored a creek they were finally old enough to play in without disaster. V kept squealing that she couldn't believe this was real and she was so happy. And then magic of magic:

The creek bed was full of mollusk shells. They spent a very long time collecting matching pairs.
