Theo loves his Papa so much.

 2020 week twenty. Quarantine week nine.

A nice restart/refresh timeout made more enjoyable with the addition of an eager to escape cat. 

V's open-mouthed wonder. We tried a bubble recipe and were able to make some pretty massive bubbles.

The unforeseen consequence of this recipe is that it deposited droplets of cornsyrup all over my yard, which means there are now flies all over my yard. But we had a lot of fun making massive bubbles for a couple days. 

V got to use the last of her birthday money to buy her first barbies. 

I've been trying to paint this portrait of my mom and V for over two months now. It's given me a lot of grief, but I think I'm finished and I"m fairly pleased with it. 

We didn't have a proper canvas frame so the glass is basically holding it up, but for now it's fine.

We watched The Sandlot for family movie last week and my kids have no frame of reference for sports. It was a completely foreign concept to them. The next day they are throwing soccer balls at each other to hit with their wooden swords and yelling things like, "That was great! It's going to be good for the football team. Don't be late for your football. You get ten points!" I guess basically they're playing Calvin ball.
