| The chicken run was getting so muddy from all the rain. They were so happy with a dense fresh layer of straw to dig and dig. Theo saw it and exclaimed, "Now it looks like a real Farm!" |

| Happy Valentines Day! Matt gave Luna the extra flower from the kids bouquet. Everyone was really pleased. Clearly. |

| After school we went to wish Grandma Hatch a Happy Valentine's Day. |

| Then we put the kids to bed early and had a long quiet dinner alone together. |

| Steak, fries, and garlic spinach -and then a cheesecake to round it all out. |

| Sunday was 60 degrees so my children declared it Summer and dressed accordingly. |

T - "Valentine's is the BEST day of the year!"
Matt - "Better than Christmas?"
T -*engaged in mental battle*
T- "They're the same."
Matt
Matt- "I got you some chocolate so you could give it out to the class you're subbing. I got milk chocolate so they'll like it."
Me- "Unless someone is allergic to milk."
Matt- "How can mammals be allergic to milk in CHOCOLATE?! This is how we catch the lizard people."
