FORTY-FOUR

Happy Halloween from the White Witch of Narnia. 

2019 week forty-four

Buddy had his four-year-old check up on Monday which included four shots! Poor guy. We decided to warm up and cheer up inside Starbucks with a hot chocolate. 

He played with these little wax sticks Grandma gave him the whole time.

On Monday we did Trunk-or-Treat. 

They got a lot of candy. 

Happy Halloween from The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. (And the lamppost.) 

On Thursday night we went trick-or-treating with the cousins. 

We walked a few miles and the kids ate a bucket of candy along the way. It was chilly and very pleasant. 

On Saturday I hosted book club and made a fire in the fire pit. Inspired by the fire and all the episodes of Are You Afraid of The Dark, V wanted to host her own meeting of the Midnight Society and asked me to record her telling a scary story.

They aren't supposed to use toilet humor at the table, so sometimes Theo will look around him mischievously and whisper, "Toilet humor..."

I had a very sweet chocolately coffee from Starbucks and I let him try the last sip in my cup, he then declared, "Well, I guess I like coffee now. Must be because I'm four now."
