2019 week forty-two

Theo has spent his whole week building legos. Every single day he waits and waits and waits and explodes when Matt gets home to do a few more pages of his sets.  

On Tuesday it was his actual birthday. We had fried rice and apple beignets. 

Then he got more presents! A car road rug from Grandma, glow stars from sister, and another lego set from us. 

Remember we have a cat? Now that the weather is cooler, she follows us around all day until we sit still long enough for her to jump into our laps. 

On Saturday, V had a birthday party for a friend and then a Ballet Halloween Sleepover! All the girls gathered at the dance studio for games and treats and dance parties and a movie and sleeping on the studio floor in their sleeping bags. I hardly slept wondering if she was going to need to call me to come get her. She didn't. She had a great time and took a loooooong nap the next day. 

Lego set #2 this week. He cannot get enough. As soon as they're built he takes them apart and rebuilds them or adds new and special features.
