EIGHT

Walks in neighborhoods can be just as magical as walks in the woods (right?). My kids are very interested in construction of any kind, but have a special affinity for sewer and water pipes...

2019 week eight

Poor Theo has infected eczema on his eyelids! So we had to cut his hair really short to keep it from continuing to rub on the sore spots. It is fascinating to see how intense his cowlicks are at this length.

I made myself some smoked salmon sushi for lunch one day. It was so pretty and delicious.

Veronica was honored at Blue and Gold as one of the first groups of girls in cub scouts. She received a special 2018 Trailblazer patch.

All the girls in her troop. Hooray for trailblazers!
Quotes:

Theodore

To Matthew, while he was being tickled, "RESPECT MY BODY!!"

Overfloat = Overflow

Veronica

She watched Steel Magnolias with me and this was her commentary, "It made me cry because the mom was sad that the daughter died just like you would be." :(

"One time a girl at my school had all this blood coming out of her mouth like someone had thrown a blood ball at her face." And now I'm finished eating my lunch...

Me: Let's give Papa clues to see if he can guess what movie we watched today. Tell him something that happened.
Theo: They shot birds out of a tree.
Matt: STEEL MAGNOLIAS!
Me: Why do you know that movie so intimately?!
