TWENTY-TWO

"Mama look, I built that building that's in Paris!" (Eiffel Tower)

2018 week twenty-two

Veronica was AMAZING at naptime and cleaned up a tornado disaster of the sewing/play room by herself without complaining. To treat her I gave her half of a snickers ice cream. She was so excited. We've been teasing good behavior out of our children with chocolate this week. It has been working.

Princess Pals.

V had to go get tested for allergies this week. She looked rather regal with her makeshift hair wrap and a Rice Krispie Treat in one hand. Turns out she's allergic to a lot of weeds and grasses. Like all of them.

"Prisoner Pose" (V hates that name *hehehe*) for the times when hands just wont be kept to themselves.

Lazy, green, breezy Sunday mornings.

In my favorite place.

We lost 3/4 of our onion crop when we had to backfill in more dirt into the raised beds. But the ones that survived were the biggest we've ever grown. Very exciting harvest this morning.

Quotes:

Veronica

While I'm reading Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle "Mama! This book is really teaching me to not be naughty!!!!" if only that were true little one.

"Roo-beer" "I know that you said it's actually Roo-Tuh Beer, but can I please just call it Roo-beer?"

Theodore

"Papa told a scary story. And a fan, and sucked up my blankets. Really scary. Too scary. It was horrible. Horrible. It was just horrible."

Sometimes Theodore gets really frustrated (read: every five minutes) and he starts angrily chanting "Mama UGH! Mama UH! MAMA UUUG!" So I pretend he's dropping a really good beat and start rave dancing to it. He loves it... *wicked grin*
