EIGHTEEN

Matt held Theo over my garden so he could nibble off the top of an overlooked asparagus that got out of hand.
2018 week eighteen

My grapevine is in bloom. I really didn't know what to expect out of grape blossoms. They are tiny odd looking flowers but have the most intriguing watery grapey smell.

The kids built their own house out of scraps of lattice. They were so proud of it.

Breakfast tacos was the prize for peacefully enduring a long long rainy walk squashed in the stroller together.

Breakfast tacos require pinkies out, everyone.

Quotes:

Veronica:

"Yeah, I'm just a really good chicken helper. You'll see when we get chickens. I'll help them."

"Look there's a man on a motorcycle. *sigh* I guess he's just a dumb dumb."

"Mama! Can you even believe it! I'm teaching him about strangers! This stranger's name is Dillon because he does bad things. Not like us. I do good things so I'm not a stranger. We pretended Theo went to a stranger so I had to spank him JUST PRETENDING but I did have to spank him and aren't you proud of me for TEACHING HIM!?"

Theo:
"I love you so much as far as the mountains." This means a great deal here in Texas where the mountains are far far away.

"Hoftible" = hospital

Me- "What are you making with blocks"
Theo - "Pipes. And eh eh uh pipes go big big and pipes."
Me- "Are they sewer pipes?"
Theo -"Yeah. Sewer drain pipes eh and uh on a different planet."
Me -"You're making an alien sewer system?"
Theo -"YEAH!"
