Autumn Park

Texas pretty much thinks Autumn is a joke, except on the rare cool, autumny days. This week was full of them! Rain on monday and tuesday and crisp *cold* today. (I will not concede that 50 degrees is cold)

It was just chilly enough for tights and a light jacket and to put V in her red hood and puffy vest. We walked the 10 minutes to the playground and I let V swing for the first time.


She loved it. And we didn't go home until her little hands were blue. I really ought to finish those baby mittens...

We've also been living up pumpkin season over here. Pumpkin snickerdoodles, soup in pumpkin bowls, pumpkin bread, pumpkin oatmeal. Yum. Bring on the pumpkins.
