Veronica really loved her patriotic outfit yesterday and was happy to have a carseat photo shoot.
Her shirt is a 9-12 mo shirt, but it was the only patriotic shirt she owns, so it was basically a dress.
BUT, it matched mine :)
Husband worked at the Flower Mound 4th of July Parade doing facepainting and Vera was so thrilled to get her forehead painted.
But really, she didn't like it at all. And after a while there was red paint everywhere.
Look at us matching. So patriotic and darling.
The parade is a bunch of kids on their bikes that have been decorated for the holiday and it was super cute. I can't wait until Vera is old enough to participate. That is participate more than sitting in her stroller while I ate my free snow cone -strawberry coconut. yum
I had to add this photo because my bangs look way better than in the last one.
Sadly, we didn't see a single firework all day or evening. But we had a pretty nice day and ate as much watermelon as we could hold while we played Phase 10(hours). Why is that game so long? It's like when you don't beat solitaire and you think, "just one more game and I'll get it. well, this was a terrible hand, just one more. on and on and on."
We had a really nice Independence Day, and lucky for us Husband has today off too! So it's just one big party over here. To prove my point, Husband is brushing the cat -which she hates. Par-tay! :) We are so happy to have Dad here today!
Okay, that third picture of Vera is probably the sweetest thing ever! Her eyes are so perfect! Also, I'm really really loving your bangs. Also also thanks for the ACV tip ;)
