2024 week thirty-three

Theo: 3rd grade

After Mama spruced her up a bit. Veronica: 6th grade. Middle School!

Kip hard at work while the kids are at school.

Saturday morning splash pad with some cousins and uncles. All the moms were celebrating together at a baby shower. 

Playing single-celled organism: scooting around the house engaging in phagocytosis whenever they encounter a cat. 

We tested out smoking a brisket this weekend. For all of Matt's anxiety over the complexity of smoking a brisket, it was relatively easy and turned out pretty well. Well done, Matt! 

We got to enjoy our brisket with Aunt Larissa and Uncle Sam and cousin Nolan before they move away for a few years. Then Matt taught the kids to play poker.
