A few weeks ago Theo received a letter in the mail from a boy who used to be in his class a couple years ago. We haven't really seen him since then but he wanted to get together with Theo over the break. It was really fun for Theo to reunite with him. And they loved chasing the chickens around the yard with the leaf blower.
I began my wellness preserving this week: fire cider, salted lemons, sauerkraut, fermented honey garlic and elderberry (plus beauty berry -that's why it is so light colored) syrup. The kids couldn't let me take a normal photo of my handiwork.
We also had a nonstop flow of candles coming out of the candle mold this week.
Theo has been doing so many chores and service for me to earn extra video game time. He brought me tea and a persimmon in bed. I also cleaned approximately zero things this week and I think I like this arrangement.
V used some Christmas money to buy roller skates and I think she's basically lived in them since.
Matt worked from the skating rink one morning to let her get all her zoomies out.

All the cousins went to a huge arcade on New Years Day.
We got to keep some cousins for the weekend and V led them in a DnD campaign.
V also face-painted her cousin to match her stuffed giraffe.
It was chilly for approximately a day and a half.
But in the meantime, my plum trees think it's spring...
