We headed up to Oklahoma for the weekend. I loved this tree in The Peanut Shoppe just determinedly stretching to the windows.
2025 week forty-one
We let Theo pick his birthday present at a surplus store. He picked a gillie suit. He's wanted one for a while.
The kids love Oklahoma and spending hours playing with their cousins.
On Sunday, the men and kids went to Robber's Cave to climb on the rocks.
Theo caught two stick bugs this weekend.
While the boys were gone, I spent hours listening to my book and setting up my table top loom again for my students. The warp is so long guys, you'll be able to weave for months.
We celebrated an early birthday for Theo before we left. He was too cool to blow out his candles, he snuffed them out with his fingers.
Kip came with us for the weekend and she also loved playing with her country Oklahoma dog cousins. She was such a good traveler.
Theo's teacher went to the state fair and found his Lego boat!
Close up.
Quotes:
Me- "Mmm you smell good."
V- "Really? Because I just farted."
"Matthew, I just really hate you. I hope you go home and suffer." -Quinn, 6 years old. Matthew deserved it for teasing her mercilessly.
"I swear to God, Jesus, and butt cheeks!" -Quinn, 6 years old. I don't know that God and Jesus deserved it.
