NINETEEN

It was really Theo's weekend this week. On Friday night he bridged over to Webelo in Scouts. 

2025 week nineteen

On Saturday his baseball team won the town championship game! 

He was so excited to get a championship ring. It is proudly displayed in his room.

Theo and his buddy Athan. 

Theo is hooked on baseball and already begging to do fall season. 

Mother's Day. Matt asked me what I wanted to do. All I wanted was time alone in the kitchen to make something magical. Homemade lasagna bolognese and tiramisu fit the bill. 

Then I had time in the garden to trim and stake and prune and pick. Today's harvest. 

Poor Pickles looks so uncomfortable. 

Matt has been working on updating the garage slowly but surely. He's 2/3rds into making it the most organized and polished room in the house.

Me- "You look a bit of a mess."

Theo-"Yeah you look like Pippi Longstocking."

Vera- "See! I'm representing great literature! You should be proud!"

Me- "What is the scent of your chapstick?"

V- "It's called 'Strawberry Phrase.'"

Me- "No. 'Fraise' is French for 'strawberry.' It's just strawberry or fraise."

V- "Oh, I thought a strawberry fraise was some sort of dessert or something."
