Funyun is struggling with eating lately. He FINALLY ate this mouse but insisted on eating it backward and it was quite a struggle and he needed extra space to figure it out. He was almost falling out of the terrarium.

2023 week sixteen

Theo and the beautiful butterfly he caught.

On Saturday, Matt set up a booth at the Lewisville Colorpalooza. He was selling prints of his drawings and had a 4 foot Texas drawing for kids to color in. 

V got her hands marbled. She declared that when she grows up she wants hand tattoos just like it...Well, we'll see. 

The make-your-own-bat and hit some whiffle balls was the favorite station. V is determined to play softball now. 

We had such a busy day and did everything we could (and sometimes not in great moods about it) to get to the Scout camp out. The camping portion ended up being canceled but that didn't stop the kids from having a great time running around the field and having dinner with friends. Then we got to come home and not sleep on the cold wet ground.

Matt was able to build me a gate to our chicken coop and put in our chick nursery. We're all ready for chicks now! 

He was so industrious on Sunday and also power washed the rain barrel. After 6 years there was 4 inches of sludge in the bottom. It was awful.
